Writing has not always been a passion of mine.
It came about through the necessity of working in high-tech companies and the research I did while studying for my research.
A recent lifestyle change last year, allowed me the time to divulge in areas that I had never explored.
This included reading poetry.
A website that I found encouraged me to grasp the true essence of the past great poets such as Wordsworth, Elliott, Dickinson…
This led me to write my own poems on the popular site allPoetry.com
I was hesitant at first writing my first poem, but as the great Chinese proverb once said, the first step is always the hardest.
I wrote one and in a matter of month or two, I had written 200 poems. Mostly free verse but with some also in rhyme.
